New Acupuncturist, Expanded Hours, July 4th Special and New prices

New Acupuncturist Arriving on the Scene

Wait a minute: she’s not so new to many of you. We welcome back to our staff this summer Janet Vialpando, DOM, who has extensive experience working in a variety of clinics, and has been subbing for Ryan over the past year during his time off.  She’s on the schedule June 17th Wednesday all day, and then starting June 25, Janet will be working regular shifts during Ryan’s vacation and beyond.

Expanded Hours Starting June 30

During June we had to cut some hours and we are sorry for this inconvenience to your schedules.  With a new acupuncturist starting, we are stretching our schedule in a few ways to accommodate your busy days and to make it easier for you to come in.

  • We’ll  return to Tuesdays and Thursday mornings
  • We’ll open at 9am EVERY day (hooray!)
  • We’ll add a Saturday evening shift.
  • We’ll be open at 2pm (except for Wednesdays) for all y’all whom are trying to squeeze a treatment in before you pick up kids from school and head into your busy evenings.

Sat, July 4th:  2 treatments for $20 from 9am til 6pm!

Holiday special!  This is our first Saturday we’ll be open 9-1 and then 2-6.  Come bring a friend with you and get 2 for 1 treatments!

Our new, simple flat fee of $20/treatment starts on June 30

After almost four years of using a sliding scale of $16-41 treatment, we have decided to switch to a simple flat fee of $20 per treatment. One simple price for all will ease our reception desk procedures, simplify accounting tasks, and hopefully make payment straightforward for our patients as well. We understand this is an increase for many; as we are not supported by any funding other than treatment fees, our goal is to remain as accessible as possible while still being a sustainable business. We hope this low flat rate will continue to allow all to receive treatment here. However, there are free ear acupuncture services available in the borderlands; please see our Free Clinic Directory.

Thank you for sharing us with your friends, family, neighbors, and co-workers! We are very grateful to to be able to expand our services for our wonderful patient community. Thank you for spreading the word!
